About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pump Attendant to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our fuel station staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our pumps and forecourt.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customers in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Dispense fuel accurately and safely into customer vehicles.
- Assist customers with oil, water, tyre pressure, and windscreen checks.
- Handle cash and card payments where required.
- Promote fuel station products, specials, and services where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness of pumps, forecourt, and work areas.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report fuel leaks, equipment faults, hazards, or incidents immediately.
- Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries when required.
- Ensure customers receive quick, efficient, and professional service.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate advantageous.
- Previous experience as a Pump Attendant or in a customer service environment will be beneficial.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, reliable, and presentable.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
