About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Risk Senior Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in treasury, market risk, liquidity risk, balance sheet management, and financial risk frameworks. The successful candidate will enjoy leading complex engagements and partnering with clients across the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of treasury and financial risk management projects from strategy through to execution
- Advising clients on treasury governance, liquidity risk, funding risk, cash risk, treasury operational risk, and risk frameworks
- Supporting complex areas such as Asset Liability Management (ALM), Funding for Transfer Pricing (FTP), hedging strategies, capital management, and financial performance management
- Driving the review, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring of treasury systems
- Managing stakeholder engagement while navigating regulatory requirements and business objectives
- Playing a key role in business development, market growth, proposal development, and thought leadership initiatives
- Leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams while helping to grow the treasury practice
Requirements
- 7 years experience within treasury risk, market risk, financial risk management, consulting, banking, insurance, asset management, or broader Financial Services
- Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations, liquidity management, cash forecasting, funding planning, and balance sheet management
- Strong knowledge of the macroeconomic and regulatory landscape impacting financial institutions
- Exposure to Financial Services regulatory frameworks

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom Honours) or equivalent
