About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tour Consultant to join our dynamic and luxury-focused travel brand in Sandton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting tailor-made experiences for discerning global travelers, leveraging your deep destination knowledge and passion for exceptional service to deliver consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining relationships with international agents
- Staying on top of quotations and administration
- Preparation of proposals and timely responses to briefs
- Planning and development of new products and programs
- Effective financial management
- Revenue control
- Representing the company at dinners, study tours, and meet and greets
- Developing new initiatives
- Conducting regular quality assurance to ensure standards are maintained
Requirements
- Min 5 – 10 years in a travel-related role
- Comprehensive knowledge of destination travel throughout Africa
- True destination “insider” with knowledge of all the secret spots
- Exceptional written and verbal English skills
- Ability to multitask and manage emergencies effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- High level of creativity and the ability to think outside of the box
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills
- Highly presentable and trustworthy
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive and self-driven individual
