About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our SIOT Division in Johannesburg, where you will drive monthly and annual sales revenue growth in line with company targets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive monthly and annual sales revenue growth in line with company targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client engagement
- Conduct professional site assessments and client needs analyses
- Design and present tailored technology security solutions including:
- CCTV and intelligent video analytics
- Alarm and off-site monitoring solutions
- Access control systems
- Perimeter protection solutions
- Remote monitoring platforms
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and solution presentations
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline through the CRM system
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring excellent customer service
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Ensure all sales administration and reporting requirements are completed accurately and timeously
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development and solution-based sales
- Experience within the electronic security or technology solutions industry will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of integrated security solutions and related technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a structured sales pipeline
- Strong client relationship management abilities
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required
