About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a representative of our brand, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the industrial, construction, and petrochem sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role, preferably in industry such as fasteners or manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular visits and follow-ups.
- Identify new business opportunities using market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct product presentations and prepare accurate quotations for customers.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets while monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal logistics, accounts, and workshop teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, resolve customer queries, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge through training.
- Submit timely sales reports and provide strategic input based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative, specifically within industrial, construction, or petrochem sectors.
- Minimum Matric qualification.
- Valid South African drivers license and own reliable transport.
- Proficient in MS Office and Syspro CRM software.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business (advantageous).
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R8 000 – R14 000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
