About the Role
A leading residential Property Developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded QS to become part of a dynamic development environment working on large-scale residential projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Full quantity surveying functions on residential developments
- Cost planning, estimating, and budget control
- Tender adjudication and subcontractor management
- Preparation and management of payment certificates and valuations
- Monitoring project profitability and financial reporting
- Site measurements and progress evaluations
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Ensuring projects remain within budget and programme targets
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 10 years experience within the construction or property development sector
- Strong residential building project experience essential
- Proven experience managing project costs, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor accounts
Qualifications
- Valid drivers licence (essential)
