About the Role
The Operator will be responsible for running and monitoring dairy processing equipment in line with standard operating procedures, ensuring smooth production, maintaining product quality, and meeting daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating machinery such as pasteurisers, homogenisers, and separators
- Maintaining accurate records of production output, downtime, and resource usage
- Working closely with the quality assurance team to test products and follow QA procedures
- Assisting with plant cleanliness, basic maintenance, and reporting equipment issues
- Adhering to safety standards in a demanding production environment
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in a production or dairy processing environment
- Basic computer literacy
- Fluency in Business English (spoken and written)
