About the Role

Theodorah Ndaba Victim Support Centre is urgently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team on a 4-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting victims of crime and empowering them to take control of their lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and guidance to victims of crime
• Facilitate victim empowerment programs and activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective support services
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers
• Ensure efficient communication with clients and team members

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
• At least 3 years of experience in the Victim Empowerment Sector (Shelter)
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals (SACSSP)

Qualifications

• Formal education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
