Job Description

Position: Financial Advisory Assistant – 3 month contract

Location: Cape Town

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team on a contract basis for 3 months as a Financial Advisory Assistant. The successful candidate will provide essential support to financial advisors in delivering high-quality service to our clients. This role involves assisting with administrative tasks, preparing financial reports and documents, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist financial advisors in managing client relationships and assessing their financial goals and needs.
  • Prepare and organise client financial documents and reports.
  • Conduct research on investment opportunities and market trends.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to address inquiries and provide updates on financial matters.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments for financial advisors and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial transactions.
  • Assist with processing client payments, account transfers, and other financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact clients’ financial planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a financial services/advisory role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning principles and investment products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and financial management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
