About the Role
This role sits at the centre of financial reporting, planning, and operational finance within a banking environment. It is designed for a finance professional who enjoys ownership, structure, and accountability – someone comfortable operating close to the numbers while still engaging senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions. The position offers strong visibility across divisions and direct exposure to executive leadership, making it ideal for a technically strong Finance Manager looking to deepen commercial and reporting expertise within financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly divisional management information across lending portfolios.
- Finalise divisional trial balances and reporting packs for executive stakeholders including CFO and CEO.
- Analyse and report on key business drivers and financial performance metrics.
- Engage business units to compile weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts.
- Coordinate and challenge divisional forecasts, budgets, and financial submissions.
- Represent Finance at operational meetings within product divisions.
- Provide input into annual financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Manage internal and external audit queries relating to divisions.
- Review work completed by direct report including journals, amortisation schedules, and transaction processing.

Job Experience & Skills Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the banking industry.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in management reporting.
Proven involvement in:
- Month-end financial reporting coordination
- Budgeting and forecasting processes
- Stakeholder reporting at senior management level
- Exposure to IFRS9 impairment reporting (review and analysis level advantageous)
- Experience with financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Pastel Evolution experience advantageous
Skills & Competencies

- Ability to analyse complex financial matters and produce executive summaries.
