About the Role
As a Finance Operations Lead at Communicate Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing accurate investment deployments, distributions, fee disbursements, and scheduled dividends across various funds and structures. You will also perform regular reconciliations to ensure the integrity of investor funds and financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute accurate investment deployments, distributions, fee disbursements, and scheduled dividends across various funds and structures
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure integrity of investor funds and financial records
- Support investment, executive, and stakeholder teams through adhoc financial analysis and data extraction
- Own and resolve operational issues endtoend, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance standards are maintained
- Manage and mentor a direct report, driving a culture of accuracy, accountability, and service excellence
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and financial controls in a growing environment
- Collaborate with finance colleagues across multiple international jurisdictions
Requirements
- Completed SAICA articles and registered AGA(SA) or CA(SA)
- Post article experience beneficial
- Strong exposure to finance operations, reconciliations, fund accounting, or investment administration
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet critical deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to engage with both finance and nonfinance stakeholders
