Johannesburg: Sales Engineer (Oil and gas industry)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities within the oil and gas sector Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, and end users Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals Interpret client specifications, RFQs, and tender documents Liaise with engineering, project, and production teams to ensure accurate solutions Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms Track market trends, competitors, and customer requirements Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or similar) Proven sales engineering experience within the oil and gas industry Strong technical understanding of oil & gas equipment, systems, or services Experience with tendering, contracts, and bid processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Willingness to travel as required
