About the Role
The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Mining Logistics Leader to join our team in Burgersfort. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and management of mining projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large Capex project budgets and oversee project execution
- Develop and implement risk management techniques and critical controls
- Protect and manage capital assets to ensure optimal utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Implement Planned Maintenance systems to optimize equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
Requirements
- BSc / BEng or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Government Certificate of Competency, Mines & Works
- Business Leadership qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification engineering experience with managerial responsibilities
- Underground mining, construction, environmental, health and safety expertise
