About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor is a key role in our medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that medical equipment and supplies are stored, handled, and distributed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure optimal inventory.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for sensitive medical equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular warehouse inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 required; relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management) is an advantage.
- Minimum 35 years experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
