About the Role
A well-established organisation within the aviation services sector is seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team based in Fourways. This opportunity offers exposure to a fast-moving operational environment where accuracy and agility are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function, including month-end and year-end processes
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems
- Partner with operational teams to support business performance and decision-making
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- 2+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of the full finance function and financial reporting
- Experience within aviation, logistics, or services industries advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
