About the Role
The Junior Shift Coordinator (Production) role is a critical position within our production facility, responsible for managing and leading a team of employees to ensure optimal utilisation of equipment, raw materials, packaging materials, and labour. This position supports operational excellence, ensures compliance with food safety standards, and contributes to continuous improvement within the production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of production employees to achieve high performance
- Implement World Class Manufacturing and Lean processes
- Monitor materials, processes, and production environment
- Perform technical fault finding on equipment and processes
- Schedule work activities and prioritise tasks
- Assess resource requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements
- Grade 12 National Diploma in Food Technology or Production Certificate Diploma / National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging Operation
- OR Technical Qualification Team Leader / Management / Supervisory training (essential)
- 35 years experience in a supervisory role
