Job Description

A rapidly expanding property investment companyshaking up the industry with bold ideas and unstoppable momentumis searching for a dynamic, ambitious and compliance focused Financial Accountant to join the team. In this role, youll work closely with and report directly to the Financial Manager, gaining hands-on exposure to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas matter and your growth is a priority. Responsibilities include Assisting financial manager with operational and financial reporting in the subsidiaries Review and/or prepare management packs Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules. Updating of centralized regional reports for review Ad hoc analysis and tasks as may be required from time to time which can include documenting business processes defined in meetings. Review/prepare tax computations, calc prov tax payments and dividend pay outs Prepare Tax returns on GreatSoft Assist with vat verifications, IT14SDs and other SARS related tax queries Review/Prepare annual financial statements Review and manage the process of preparing audit files and attending/managing auditor queries where applicable Financial reporting to shareholders. Preparing and managing Cash Flow Forecasts Knowledge required: Bcom or equivalent SAIPA/SAICA Registration not required however beneficial Articles or experience at small audit/accounting practice beneficial or similar work experience Intermediate excel skills 2-3 years relevant work experience Skills required: Works well under pressure Deadline driven environment High degree of accuracy Attention to detail Analytical Team orientated Analytical Excellent work ethic Deadline driven
