Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related challenges in collaboration with the project team.
- Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and any deviations from the project plan.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance to site teams.
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders as needed.
- BEng/BSc (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil Engineering) from a recognized institution.
- ECSA registration as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng is highly preferred (candidates in the process of registration will also be considered).
- Experience in construction as a contractor is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.
