About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled F&B Manager to join our team at Safari Plains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards, while also assisting with financial management and leading a talented F&B team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards
Assist the Assistant RM & Resident Manager in the day-to-day operation of Safari Plains
Monitor policies and procedures to ensure operations, financial controls, and standards are being met
Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
Provide a two-way communication environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Report on management regarding sales results and productivity

Requirements

Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date knowledge of food and beverages trends and best practices
Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
Guest-oriented and service-minded
Building relationships and motivating all staff to develop a culture unique to Safari Plains

Qualifications

Valid RSA ID
Valid RSA Drivers license
Matric is a minimum requirement, but a further qualification is a bonus
