About the Role
The Administrator role in our Somerset West office is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the development team with general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with technical teams, and possess a calm and supportive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sprint boards, backlogs, and task statuses
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution
- Take clear notes during meetings and distribute action items and decisions
- Follow up with team members to ensure agreed actions are completed
- Coordinate communication between developers, product, support, and management
- Maintain development documentation, release notes, and internal records
- Support the team with general administrative tasks related to development workflows
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent formal qualification (advantageous)
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, project support, or development-related role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with task management tools (e.g. Azure Boards, or similar)
- Ability to work with technical teams without needing to be technical yourself
- Attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work
- A calm, supportive manner and confidence to follow up and keep people accountable
- Strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, a Grade 12 or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
