- Agricultural Diploma/Degree
- Remote Pilots Licence
- Minimum 3 years of farming experience
- Previous experience with:
- Drone crop spraying essential
- Cropping – maize, soya & sugar beans
- Livestock – cattle
- Computer literate
- Somebody who can take ownership, come up with new ideas, and works independently and proactively
- Being mechanically & maintenance orientated
- Ability to work with and motivate staff essential
- Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- See that planting equipment and Poison Spray remain in good condition
- Supervise planting process and spraying
- Do the harvesting in person at harvest time with JD Harvester
- Gradually get involved in cattle farming
- Any other duty that may come into question.
