About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team in Witbank, responsible for ensuring the efficient and correct operation of agricultural systems components. The successful candidate will provide technical support and guidance to clients, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety regulations and industry practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical components
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults
- Preventative maintenance and routine inspections of agricultural systems components
- Collaboration with installation teams to ensure efficient system setup
- Compliance with electrical, mechanical, and safety regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients
- Accurate record-keeping of work completed and materials used
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright, preferably within the agricultural or irrigation sector
- Valid Millwright Trade certificate or license
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults effectively
- Agricultural systems experience is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
