Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and compilation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support the tax compliance process, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Participate in audit procedures and review client financials.
• Conduct research on accounting standards and stay updated with legislative changes.
• Work closely with senior team members to gain exposure to various accounting functions.
• Prepare and maintain working papers, schedules, and reports for review.

Requirements:

• Completed or in the process of completing a relevant degree in Accounting.
• Registration with SAICA as a trainee accountant is preferred.
• CTA a must
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Afrikaans & English)
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
