About the Role
Fanute Workwear, a leading provider of durable workwear solutions, is seeking a driven Sales & Business Development Executive to lead our growth efforts in the Western Cape region, focusing on the food production and processing sector. As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a market map of the target area, segmented by client type and industry.
- Create and manage a CRM pipeline and sales funnel to track leads, opportunities, and conversions.
- Create or curate compelling sales collateral to support pitches and proposals.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to generate awareness and inbound leads.
- Visit new and prospective clients, build relationships, and close deals.
- Travel locally and regionally as required; hybrid work arrangement with occasional onsite visits.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sector experience; preferably in selling products or services to the food production industry.
- Drivers license and own car.
- Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel; comfortable with a hybrid work setup (office client site travel).
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard office software.
Qualifications
- Specific experience within a large food production or processing business.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in workwear/garments or related sectors.
