About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill a temporary Marketing Administrator position in our Cape Town City Centre office. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our products or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote products or services
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, including organizing events and creating promotional materials
  • Assist with social media marketing efforts, including managing social media accounts and creating engaging content
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities
  • Assist with drafting and editing marketing communications, such as emails, press releases, and website content
  • Maintain marketing databases and CRM systems to track customer interactions and campaign effectiveness
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Previous experience in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software and SAP
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
