About the Role
Bonafide Human Capital Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Service Manager to join our client’s automotive dealer in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable operation of the Service Department, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhance customer relations
- Maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers
- Supervise staff, manage performance, discipline, and other staff management related functions
- Ensure Service Department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls, and composite figures
- Ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through efficient labour utilization, productivity, and sales
- Ensure excellence in customer service
- Maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales
- Effectively communicate with OE (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and drive their various standards
- Drive performance and develop skills within the Service Department
Requirements
- Qualified technician (Motor Mechanic related Trade Qualification)
- Matric
- Relevant post-matric qualification in Management will be an advantage
- Fully computer literate – Microsoft package
- Relevant Driver’s License
- Strong motivational skills
- Attention to detail
