About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our medium-large, corporate, well-established airport hotel in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-function strategic management with a focus on Food and Beverage (F&B), particularly within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective F&B strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Lead a team of hotel managers and staff to achieve business objectives and goals
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience as full-function strategic General Manager in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of success in F&B management, preferably within a corporate or airport hotel setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and external partners
