About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our luxury 5-star hotel team in Plettenberg Bay, responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department
- Ensure all rooms and public areas meet 5-star standards
- Manage housekeeping staff, including training and scheduling
- Monitor stock levels and control housekeeping budgets
- Maintain quality control and implement standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or similar
- Minimum 23 years experience in a similar role within a 5-star property
- OPERA system experience (essential)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
