About the Role
We are a vibrant, busy Sports Bar in the heart of Pretoria East looking for a charismatic and well-presented Hostess to manage our front door and welcome guests. This is a part-time position, ideal for a student or someone looking to supplement their income with 3 shifts a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet & Greet: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell upon departure.
- Door Control: Manage the flow of guests, check IDs where necessary, and ensure capacity regulations are followed.
- Guest Management: Manage reservations, seating charts, and waiting lists during peak sports events.
- Ambassador: Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and represent the venue’s image professionally.
Requirements
- Language: Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (essential for our client base).
- Presentation: Impeccable grooming and a stylish, professional appearance are non-negotiable.
- Personality: Bubbly, confident, and thick-skinned enough to handle a busy door environment.
- Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend shifts (specifically Friday/Saturday nights or match days).
- Location: Living in or near Pretoria East is preferred for reliable transport.
