About the Role

Bushwise is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support daily operational logistics at our Pongola lodge. This role involves preparing game drive vehicles, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with loading food, beverages, and supplies onto game drive vehicles
Ensure vehicles are fully equipped and prepared prior to scheduled activities
Assist with unloading and organizing equipment after activities
Support general logistical and operational tasks within the vehicle depot
Ensure tools, compressors, power washers, and other equipment are functional and well-organized
Monitor equipment condition and report any faults or maintenance needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle depot and work areas
Assist with moving equipment and supplies between operational areas
Provide general support to the activities and events teams when required
Ensure all equipment and workspaces are consistently kept in a ready-to-use condition

Requirements

Previous experience in logistics, operations, or maintenance support roles
Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, loading, and organizing equipment
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Ability to work in a remote environment
Willingness to work early mornings and late afternoons in line with operational schedules

Salary & Benefits

The Logistics Coordinator will receive a salary of R15,000.00 per month, and the opportunity to live on-site at our Pongola lodge.
