About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on PV & Storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and expansion
- Manage sales and customer relationships to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and pitches
- Provide technical expertise on renewable energy systems and equipment
- Oversee small projects up to 125 MW in size
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Electrical Engineering
- 5 -8 years of experience in Business Development or relevant experience in a related field
- Renewable experience in Africa, Sales/BD, Product Development, Proposals, and Customer interface
- Technical knowledge on PV & Storage and Thermal equipment is advantageous
- Exposure to small projects of 125 MW
- Heavy industrial mining experience
- Municipal experience is advantageous
