About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Officer to join our team at SA Van Conversions in Pinetown. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in the full HR function
- Support disciplinary processes and represent the company at CCMA / bargaining councils
- Drive performance management and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and Employment Equity requirements
- Oversee onboarding, contracts, and employee records
- Manage leave, attendance, and HR systems
- Coordinate training and skills development initiatives
- Administer Workmans Compensation claims
- Support payroll processes and HR reporting
Requirements
Skills in human resources, recruitment, and employment law are essential. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Qualifications
Formal education/certification in Human Resources or a related field (e.g., BCom Human Resources, LLB) would be an asset.
