About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead our Johannesburg North office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end engineering projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and HSE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end engineering projects including planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors
- Act as the primary technical interface with clients, consulting engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations
- Drive risk management, change control, and project reporting
- Support procurement, construction methodologies, and commissioning activities
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost, quality, and time constraints
Requirements
- BEng Mechanical Engineering, BEng Electrical Engineering, or BSc Engineering (minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a project management or project engineering role
- Proven experience managing civil and mechanical construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies, site execution, and commissioning
