WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Analyst. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build a career in VAT and indirect tax compliance while working closely with experienced account managers and supporting global client accounts. The role offers hands-on exposure to compliance processes, technical research, client communication, and audit support in a fast-paced, specialist environment.
About the Role
As Tax Analyst, you will work under the supervision of an experienced Account Manager with the goal of progressing into an Account Manager role as your capability grows. Youll support VAT filings, compliance checks, data analysis, tax authority communication, and day-to-day client servicing activities. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organised, and eager to grow within a technical tax and client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, process, and analyse tax-related data
- Support account managers with VAT filings including VAT returns, ECSLs, and Intrastat reports
- Draft professional email communication
- Perform VAT compliance checks
- Assist with technical research
- Handle administrative tasks as needed by the team
- Communicate with tax offices where required
- Assist with client and tax authority queries and issue resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, account managers, and other team members
- Deliver accurate and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders
- Support audit preparation and audit responses
- Take on ad-hoc tasks to help meet business and administrative goals
