About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, project administration, and client liaison. As an Intermediate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing project costs from inception to completion
- Conducting valuations, cost reporting, and financial forecasting
- Contract administration and managing variations
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and financial objectives
Requirements
- BSc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience
- Professional registration (or in the process of registering) is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outgoing, confident, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
