About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Representative to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through product knowledge and industry insights
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and negotiation skills
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales or a customer-facing role
- Interest or exposure to technical/industrial products advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop in a sales environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with digital platforms such as LinkedIn and WhatsApp advantageous
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
