About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple for a luxury lodge located in KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a couple with strong operational, guest-facing, and administrative experience to join a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lodge Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day lodge operations with a strong focus on guest experience
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalised, high-end service delivery
- Manage and support lodge staff, ensuring strong team performance and morale
- Oversee the Head Chef with a focus on quality control and consistency
- Ensure smooth coordination between all lodge departments
- Maintain operational standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations
- Assist with food and beverage stock control and ordering processes
- Admin / Accounts:
- Manage lodge administration and support operational requirements
- Handle reservations and ensure accurate guest billing and account checks
- Assist with basic financial processes (no heavy accounting required)
- Work with systems such as Pastel and reservation/accounting platforms
- Ensure accuracy in guest accounts and daily financial reconciliation
- Support stock takes and purchasing processes where required
Requirements
- Strong guest service orientation with the ability to read guests
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff
- Solid administrative skills with attention to detail
- Experience with reservations systems and guest billing processes
- Working knowledge of Pastel and lodge accounting systems advantageous
- Hands-on, practical approach with initiative and common sense

Salary: R40,000 – R50,000 per annum. Live-in accommodation and meals on duty provided.
