About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional reception services, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. As a multi-tasking Tea Lady/Cleaner, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and clients, while also catering to the needs of employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors professionally and courteously
- Ensure visitors, vendors, and clients are signed in as per security protocols
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and queries to relevant staff
- Handle deliveries and courier services with receiving deliveries/picking up parcels from the company
- Assist with meeting room bookings and prepare rooms as required
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organised, and presentable always
- Accompany Berco on their weekly plant watering rotations
- Set up refreshments for boardroom events as required
- Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, water) to employees, guests, and meeting attendees
- Ensure all beverage stations are fully stocked, clean, and ready for use throughout the day
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of cleaning agents: Understanding how to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
