About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a General Mill Assistant in Wolmaransstad. As an assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our mill, ensuring efficient production and minimal waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation of milling machinery and equipment.
- Load raw materials (e.g., grain) into machines or storage areas.
- Monitor product flow and report any irregularities.
- Perform basic cleaning of machinery and work areas.
- Pack, weigh, and label finished products.
- Assist with stock handling and storage.
- Follow instructions from mill operators and supervisors.
- Help with routine maintenance and report faults or breakdowns.
- Ensure minimal waste and efficient use of materials.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Previous experience in a mill, factory, or production environment (advantageous).
