About the Role
The Graduate Procurement Engineer role is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the Category Managers and Project Procurement Managers in completing all procurement tasks and activities on time with the required quality. You will also be the interface between subcontractors and internal departments, ensuring that procurement tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- On-boarding of new subcontractors, full comprehensive vetting process
- Subcontractors selection: implementation of high quality fully compliant tenders
- Creation of high quality contracts
- Implementation of cost down and cost optimization
- Routine subcontractors management (supplier performance evaluation, high level sponsorship management, PTP (procurement to payment) cycle management, Supplier risk management, supplier healthy eco-system built)
- Project delivery resource assurance
- Other activities related to implementation of procurement processes
Requirements
- Excellent customer relationship maintenance skills
- Good IT skills (familiar with Word, Power Point, Excel etc)
- Ability to learn quickly
Qualifications
- Procurement/Supply Chain/ Telecommunication engineering/Business Management degree or equivalent qualification
