About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Data & Analytics Manager to lead our Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE) in Midrand, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming our organization into an Insight Driven Organisation (IDO), leveraging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and RPA to drive intelligent business decisions and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a 5-year data and analytics roadmap in conjunction with the Supply Chain Intelligence Executive.
- Build and manage a technology stack that supports key initiatives while simplifying the IT landscape and reducing costs.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of analysts; prioritize projects and maintain critical data infrastructure.
- Act as a thought partner to departments, translating complex data into actionable insights through reports and self-service dashboards.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle using Agile methodologies to ensure quality, scope, and cost requirements are met.
- Ensure full compliance with PoPIA and GDPR while establishing robust information security and data management policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 5 years of experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence (Supply Chain experience preferred).
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage vendor/partner relationships.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team development skills.
- Experience with Azure, SAP R/3 & BW, and databases is essential.
