Breathtaking lodge in Namibia is recruiting for the role of General Manager.Experience required:Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staffPrevious experience in running a five-star operation as Lodge Manager of GMGood command of the English languageAn outgoing, warm, friendly personalityConfident and comfortable around affluent peopleAware, evolved, energetic, compassionate, respectable, good communication and a strong leaderKnowledge and experience in business, supervision, and managementDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and lodge staff membersDemonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting and accounting principles and practicesA minimum of three years of responsible leadership experiences in management or supervisory positionsSpecialized training in managing human resources, preferredDuties include:Overall responsibility for the effective management and running of the lodgeEnsure the lodge and brand are taken to the next level of service standardsOverall Responsibility for budget creation and managementCAPEX structuring and planning responsibilityOverall Day to Day Management of the Lodge and Back of HouseDaily meeting with Assistant Lodge Manager and Heads of Department Create annual and monthly training plansCreate and maintain skills development plan.
