About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team at Objective Personnel in Alberton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary world and a strong understanding of hospitality operations, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, chains, lodges, and other hospitality outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, chefs, F&B managers, procurement officers, Executive Housekeepers and hospitality executives.
  • Present and promote company’s Works apparel, highlighting quality, innovation, and suitability for the industry.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry trade shows, events, and culinary expos to represent company’s Works and generate leads.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM/database of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Tertiary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred but not essential.
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within hospitality, catering supplies, or apparel/uniforms.
  • Previous experience selling into hotels, restaurants, or lodges is highly advantageous.
  • A passion for the culinary world and understanding of hospitality operations will be a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the hospitality, catering, foodservice, or related industry.
  • Go-getter attitude – self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively and consistently hit targets.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
