About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant General Manager/Operations Manager to join our award-winning 5-star Luxury Boutique Hotel in Ballito. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the Hotel General Manager in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Oversee staff training and development to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Coordinate with departments to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Implement effective operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide exceptional guest experiences through proactive problem-solving and personalized service.
Requirements
- 5-star hotel management experience, preferably in a boutique hotel setting.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications
- Formal education in hospitality or related field (e.g. B.H. Sc. Hospitality Management).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Hotel Management Diploma).
