About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant General Manager/Operations Manager to join our award-winning 5-star Luxury Boutique Hotel in Ballito. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the Hotel General Manager in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
Oversee staff training and development to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Coordinate with departments to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Implement effective operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide exceptional guest experiences through proactive problem-solving and personalized service.

Requirements

5-star hotel management experience, preferably in a boutique hotel setting.
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

Formal education in hospitality or related field (e.g. B.H. Sc. Hospitality Management).
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Hotel Management Diploma).
