About the Role

As a Finance Manager at our client in Ballito, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and management to ensure the company’s financial health and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Monitor and control stock valuation, inventory levels, and stock adjustments in collaboration with the supply chain team
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax, and statutory submissions
  • Manage internal and external audits and maintain strong internal financial controls
  • Reconcile bank accounts and oversee payment processing
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and decision-making
  • Work with department heads to improve cost control and profitability
  • Oversee HR administration and IT coordination functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, or ACCA (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial management, preferably within an industry environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, audit, and inventory management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Zoho, SAP, Sage)
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
