Job Description
A leading Short?Term Insurance provider, headquartered in Johannesburg and now expanding into Pretoria, is looking for a dynamic Portfolio Manager to grow and manage broker relationships in the region.
Youll work with an existing panel of 100 brokers, drive new business, onboard new brokers, and support portfolio growth while acting as the key link between brokers and internal teams.
What Youll Do
- Grow commercial premium income and hit monthly/annual targets
- Maintain a 25% new?business closing rate
- Keep new business loss ratios below 60%
- Sign at least 5 new select brokers
- Identify new opportunities within the existing panel
- Support brokers with training, product knowledge, and portfolio insights
What You Need
- Grade 12
- NQF4 Short?Term Insurance Qualification (or in progress)
- RE5 essential
- FSCA?registered (DOFA required)
- 3+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
- Strong product knowledge (Personal & Commercial Lines)
- TIAL/System A experience advantageous
