About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Co-ordinator to join our team at Jackie Cory Recruitment in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assist the marketing team with the implementation and execution of various marketing initiatives, support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and activities, and monitor and analyze their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, executing, and optimizing of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and on-the-ground activations.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports and analysis to the marketing manager.
- Assist in creating and editing marketing collateral, including industry articles, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Coordination of events, functions, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze customer feedback, conduct surveys, and generate insights to improve marketing strategies.
- Oversee the budget and facilitate payment procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
- Leveraging and managing sponsorships to maximize return on investment (ROI) by strategically selecting partnerships, monitoring performance, and optimizing sponsorship activations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing coordination role, with a proven track record of execution.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices across multiple channels, including digital, social, and on the ground.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and performance-tracking skills, with the ability to interpret data and extract insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and adapt content in line with brand tone and guidelines.
