About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wildlife Manager to join our team in Bela-Bela. As a key member of our conservation efforts, you will be responsible for managing species such as Roan, Sable, Buffalo, Zebra, and Impala, and overseeing daily operations of our wildlife management and breeding programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily wildlife operations, including predator care and game breeding
- Participate in wildlife auctions, trading, and genetic acquisition strategies
- Develop and implement comprehensive wildlife management plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve conservation goals
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in wildlife management
- Demonstrated expertise in animal tracking, monitoring, capture operations, and handling techniques
- Valid SA Drivers License (Code B or higher)
- Firearm competency advantageous
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Nature Conservation, Wildlife Management, Ecology, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in hands-on predator care and game breeding operations
