About the Role
The Technical Manager – Operations role is a critical position within our Supply Chain department, responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of processes to maintain a robust supply chain and meet high levels of availability across the entire Value Chain. The successful candidate will have expertise in GMP and quality standards, as well as knowledge of packaging, formulation, and ingredients used in Cosmetics or Food.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and publish the programme to maintain certification on ISO 22716 GMP, Sedex SMETA, and ISO 9002.
- Prepare annual budget for authorisation and monthly reviews for the cost of certification.
- Liaise with certifying bodies and coordinate activities required for certification.
- Keep up to date on amendments or changes to Standards.
- Understanding and implementing the requirements for the standards via Internal Auditing and Gap Management.
- Completing, maintaining, and version controlling the ISO Library on the K Drive.
- Maintaining the Document Control Policy and Procedure, including producing SOPs, Work Instructions, Policies, and Record Items such as forms logs.
- Maintaining the integrity and security of the K Drive ISO Library.
- Publishing an agreed Quality Goals per annum and reporting on progress monthly.
- Ensuring that integration of all policies, procedures, and documents within the Company is in place and up to standard.
Requirements
- Knowledge Standards for GMP and Quality in Cosmetics Regulations regarding product labelling in Cosmetics, Food or Pharma.
- Technical Specs in Cosmetics, Food or Pharma.
- Knowledge of packaging and packaging technology in Cosmetics or Food.
- Effective and practiced use of Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Understanding of formulation and ingredients used in Cosmetics or Food.
