About the Role
Pro-Match Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, while providing excellent administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain accurate financial records on Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end procedures
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar financial or accounting support role
- Essential: Practical working experience with Xero accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
Qualifications
Any relevant financial or accounting qualification will be advantageous but is not essential.
